Meeow was founded by 2 friends, Simon Glenn and Chris Rabbitt in the first months of the global pandemic in the UK as a direct response to the failure of the shift of the traditional face-to-face networking model to the online space.

When pandemic hit, traditional networking broke. The format of getting as many people in one room as possible doesn’t translate online. Everyone on mute, 30 secs perhaps to blurt out a pitch, then go back on mute achieves nothing.

Using data acquired via preferences and anonymised conversational data, Meeows AI matches people based on their communication style and interests, not whether they’ll do business with one another.

The new MEEOW platform launched on April 15th 2021 with it’s core functionality of 4 people, coming together to network without any pre-determined agenda or discussion subject.

 

Our tech roadmap includes:

MAGNET (launches Q2 2022)
Magnet will allow subscribers to create their own meetings, at a time of their choice, on a subject of their choice and invite up to 3 others to join them to talk on that subject. They can post that meeting to the Meeow calendar and our AI will market those meetings to the most likely participants from our membership

 

MAGNITUDE – Enterprise Project (launches Q4 2022)
Magnitude takes all the features of Meeow, Magnet and a webinar feature and wraps them in a white-labelled environment which will allow permitted members to attend automated networking sessions and meet and collaborate on fresh ideas with like minds. As this is a client branded space the organisation is likely to prefer to have client meetings within their MAGNITUDE area.

Business Model

Meeow is a subscription service. At present we offer every new subscriber a 30 day free trial, with a £9/month (inc VAT) monthly rolling membership fee there after.

 

On launch of MAGNET, we will make this feature available on a premium subscription of £20/month (inc VAT)

 

Once MAGNET has established itself as a mainstay of the Meeow offer and our on platform advertising model is launched in Q4 of 2022, we plan to take the standard Meeow subscription free to all from Q2 2023.

 

Our enterprise product, MAGNITUDE will be sold on a per head licence basis.

Over 1,500 people used our free, pre-MVP beta service on Zoom.

Since then and with no paid marketing, subscriptions have grow to 1100 and we have a retention rate of 76%.

Marketing and Sales Strategy

Our marketing strategy is spearheaded by extremely high-quality paid Youtube trailer content which triggers Google Remarketing ads and Facebook/Instagram advertising. We also have extensive paid advertising coverage on Linkedin.

 

We will also have an extensive PR budget, both on and offline.
