The company vision is to be the one-stop-shop for content providers whilst building a self-serving marketplace, and ready-made sales funnel. The Problem

Problem

There are many platforms out there for content providers and this caused confusion on what platforms to use and how to connect them. This is time-consuming and expensive.

Target Market and Opportunity

The target market is enormous and is growing weekly as more content providers move digitally. Initially the target is micro-business such as coaches, educators, chefs, health and fitness, yoga and others. As Univy scales, more established content providers can be targeted.

Univy addresses 2 big problems for content providers today. The first is eliminating the use of multiple platforms to monetise their content online. The second, by creating a sales funnel for content providers as many don’t have the knowledge or time to build their own

Business Model

Initially Univy is launching with the 3 models. As Univy grows as a marketplace and adds new features, there is an opportunity to increase the fee’s and % commission

Traction and Validation

During a recent clubhouse podcast where Univy was pushed, it was mentioned current platforms were too expensive to just host courses and Univy’s price point was very attractive as well as the flexibility of creating live events and charging individually or via reoccurring revenue monthly subscription channels.

The building of Sales funnel within Univy was mentioned as huge incentive. Marketing is where over 50% of the funding will be spent including building brand awareness.

Another aspect was mentioned was the lack of current platforms that had a community aspect. Univy has existing functionality giving the ability of users to create their own profile therefore the community aspect can be grown in the next funding round.

First revenue generating events (live video conferences) have been posted and will run in April.

A further two content providers will be creating and hosting their pre-recorded content on Univy as a one off chargeable channel.

Once the first 3 content providers are live, Univy would have validated the use of pre-recorded and live events monetised in two different ways.

Marketing and Sales Strategy

The initial lead generation and targeting of users is explained in the image but to summarise micro-business who can attract 20 to 100 content consumers are initially targeted. As Univy scales, content providers with a bigger following will be marketed to hence bringing in more revenue.

In addition to marketing to content providers, with the impending funding Univy will grow the brand therefore bringing in more content consumers onto the platform and hence building a sales funnel which in turn will attract more content providers onto the platform.
